KENWOOD KDC-1012 CD Problem

Hi,

I have a kenwood kdc-1012. The problem is, when i insert a cd into the player, the cd won't spin but the laser is moving up and down. then before the player eject the cd, it will spin a little then backward then eject. i've tried cleaning the lens but it is still the same. need help....thanks

you probably have a bad laser assembly. it needs to be replaced
