Recently, my 17" Sony monitor (Multiscan E220) suddenly changed its color profile. I have tried to correct this through the settings and by going through the gamma wizard, and other colour settings, but I haven't managed to restore natural colours. It is clear to me that RED is what is missing to the image. It looks like a material problem, because even when I set red at maximum directly under the screen, I can't see my colours correctly.
Can somebody tell me if it can be a material problem of the red beam, and if it is possible to solve / repair it ?
Nice to discover this e-forum. I hope to get some answers. |

| You might have a bad red driver tansistor. or resistor, in the crt board. |
