does anyone know how to enter the engineers menu on the se720.
since resetting the iternals afetr an eprom dump the clock doesn't work.

is it dead or can it be reset.

the clock advance 1 min in anything up to 6 hours!

the correct way to enter service mode is to press the test button on the front of the set then press the menu button on handset for 5 secs, the eeprom settings can then be accessed, check c701 is inserted with the correct polarity as regards the supply rail as the board is incorrectly marked, replace r648 and r649 with 4k7 resistors, if fault recurs replace micro with updated version. if test button doesnt work it is possible that eeprom is corrupt and one of the other buttons has become the test button trial and error would then be only way.
