|
|
Hello,
I got this TV from a friend who said that it was overheating. It's a 42" non-ambilight plasma from 2003 I think. The tv will turn on and work for anywhere from 30 secs to 2 hours. I used to be able to just turn it back on after it turned off and went into standby mode and it would work for a while but now when it turns off and I try to turn it back on, it will just turn off again immediately. I've kept the TV in a cool place and even had a fan behind it in case it was overheating but this doesn't seem to work. I looked at Tim_UK's thread, my problem sounds similar. Any ideas?
Thanks,
~A.C. |

My JVC plasma display does the same thing and the ONLY thing that is working SO FAR was unplugging it for 5 minutes or more then everything was ok (at least for the time being). Sounds funny, I know, but it works. |
