I have a problem with my TV It does turn on... a tech already checked the T.V he said that the problem is the Horizontal output drive... He said for the part would we $175 and for labor $175 as well... do you think this is a good deal??? also is the part hard to change? can I do it myself? Where can I get it?

The horizontal output is off of the fly back. I'm asking for the location of the horizontal out put transistor that they said needs to be replaced. Not where you live. Transistors normally start with a component location Q???. |

The tech didn't really told me where was the location of the horizontal... I call them up and they told me that they just did a priliminary diagnostic... that they have to trouble shoot it to really know what part is necessary... they said that the problem would be the main power supply that runs from the wall to the tv set... Im kind of confuse cause im not really sure what is wrong with it... The problem is that the TV doesn't turn on... Minnie I hope this info will help... is there a way I can trouble shoot it myself ??? |
