--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi guys,I have a problem and don't have a sckematic, when i turn down the G2 to the rihgt level where i can get a good pic and convergence, then when turn off set then turn back up again the pic is dim or without bright,i have to keep the G2 too high thus degrades the pic convergence,I resolder everthing related and no avail. I think this could be the FLYBACK or the EEPROM, any ideas please.

I'm thinking you have a bad flyback. Think about it. You set it, turn it off. Back on and it's bad again. I'd say abl problem but not if you can adjust it. Flyback.

Minnie ok. I found this set out in the junk yard, and brought it home everything was fine exept pic dim, i turned up g2 knob higher and then lower so pic could be good, pic was fine, next time that turned it on it got dim again. but if i want it to stay on bright , so i don't have to adjust g2, i can but pic does't have as much green as i want, has more red tint than i like and focus it's not so good either.

Screen and focus control come from the flyback. Red tint I'd look to see if there's a pot to adjust it or if it's done in the service menu.
