| Just ordered the parts. Did not want to have the parts put into the tv and blow again, so I ordered 2x of both. With shipping (which was 11.50!!) order came up to 26.50!! Hope it was worth it? |

Minnie, I have the same issue as most on this thread.. I have a Hitachi 60sbx72b
I checked and E994 fuse and it is open and C707 is black underneath.. I will order the two parts today from pacparts.. I really am glad I found your info.. You are awsome for prviding such geat info..Thanks! I'll update you all after I complete the repair..

Hello, I have a Hitachi 50UX52B/53K (bought it in '97)
THe kids were watching tv and the screen faded to black AFTER it shrunk to the center. Sometimes it will stay on for a little bit then go out. They said they use to have to hit the right side for it to work.
I took the back off a while ago and it looks like one of the transformers is leaking.
Could this be the cause? |

| Transformers don't leak the CRT's do meaning the board is usually junk. 14 year old set, 50" time to think if you even want to fix it. |
