Common cause of blowing fuse in a digital projector

Hi Guys,

I have an EPSON EMP 8150 which consistently and immediately blows the main internal fuse (right next to the power lead).

I don't have my multi-meter with me so haven't had a chance to go poking around yet.

I'm guessing this should be a fairly easy fault to trace but was wondering if people have any hints where to look?

I'm guessing since it blows without even turning it on (which would then tell the lamp ballast to fire up, hopefully eliminating that) the problem lies with the power supply.

What parts usually fail on powers supplies? I suppose a capacitor could short internally, or perhaps a transformer winding?

Edit, i think have found the problem.

D25XB60 Rectifier has failed on the PSU.
