You could have a bad tube. Have you tried rejuvenating it?

Minnie i don't have a juvenator. i turned down the red bias and the bleeding goes away, but it seems that after awhile of beeing on gets kind a vertical 4"band verticaly and pic fads away and i have to unplug it from the wall, and only turns back on after, i let it sit for some time, i suspect this type of set senses this change in the bias and turns off the high voltage,i say this because sound never goes a way i can here channel changing,What you think thanks.I also had this tip What you think?

this sympton is characterized by the presence of red, cyan, green, magenta, blue or yellow colour in a supposedly plain white raster. proper colour reproduction cannot be expected if the raster is coloured.
this symptom is caused by a poor white balance adjustment of by a trouble in the CRT, colour amplifier, color demodulation or colour output circuits.
if the raster has a tint of red or cyan, check the R-Y output circuits and the first grid, second grid and cathode circuits of the red electron gun.

White raster, move yolk back and forth, If correct purity can't be obtained leads me to a degausing problem or bad tube?
