my omnitronic cd player

hi can anybody please help, i have a amnitronic dual cd-player cdp-381 my problem is when i press open/close the cd door opens sometimes and sometimes it dont its driving me mad i belive there is a magnet inside on top of the laser it dont seem to be a electrical problem it just seems to have a mind of its own if you can help please email at [email protected] many thanks

thanks for the reply i have checked the loader and when the cd loader didnt come out i tapped the top by the magnet, and this made the loader come out ????? so i dont think this is an electrical fault any more ideas could i use some kind of lubricant or do somethink to the magnet to help the loader release better ???? thanks beenpole ..............
