Was the cap polarity sensitive? As in one side has a gray or a white mark denoting the negative side? If yes did you put in correctly. |

all akira tv play black and white when i replace a new memory i.c 24c08. but when i replace with one that i remove in a good working akira tv it play ok. i have this problem with akira tv only. i dont know if i have to enter the service mode to set the new i.c 24c08 |

all akira tv play black and white when i replace a new memory i.c 24c08. but when i replace with one that i remove in a good working akira tv it play ok. i have this problem with akira tv only. i dont know if i have to enter the service mode to set the new i.c 24c08 |

Put the old chip back in, go into the service menu, write down all default values, put new back in transfer values. |
