You need to go into the service menu for convergence. 5 7 9 change colors. Add/Delete stores sensor data. After add/delete while still in convergence menu push the perfect focus button on remote. This stores the sensor data.

Are you sure it's 5 7 9? I've looked on another manual and it mentions 4 2 5.

5 Brings up some boxes. 7 9 does nothing.

4 2 5 makes it flash and come off. But the convergence gets screwed up again (took me bloody ages to get them straightish!) LOL

OK. The last hour sorting the convergence. I have it set up pretty good. Watchable, but not perfect.

Is there a way I set the convergence permanent so it dont change? And perfect focus? I dont really want to loose it all again, so not sure where to go next...?

Just had this like this prick today. All the commands I gave are correct. I replaced the IC's and still had no convergence. There's a .47 ohm resistor RF801S. 1 watt. Follow the instructions for senor realignment. Any problems, let me know.

Minnie, I owe you everything. You truly are a godsend. My TV has gone from saggy Blue convergence, to pinpoint picture perfect. It's a better picture than it was before!

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. You have made a family of 5 very, very happy. Kids are now rinsing Boomerang again though Rolling Eyes

But we watched City of Angels last night and I couldnt believe the picture was that unbelievable! Very Happy

It cost me a total of £13 to get the IC's (from the US of A!) instead of a whopping £1,000 for a new gogglebox!
