Hitachi C32W510SN No Colour on Start-up

On switch on there is no colour and what appears to be poor quality picture. Switching on and off several times will invariably overcome the problem and bring back a perfect picture. It now switches to standby after about an hour but only when on programme 4 (Channel 4). Switch it on again and immediately switches off to standby. Switch back on to different channel and tv works fine.

Sounds like your tuner is bad. Put it on video 1, feed the dvd into it, and see if at turn on color is there.

I have carried out your recommendation by playing DVD through AV1 and the fault is still there.
