32" Toshiba Hourglass Picture

My entertainment center/area is geared to a 32" screen. I have a 32" PIP Toshiba Mod# CE32H15/CE32G that I bought at Sam's about 10yrs ago. Last year the screen started hourglassing. Picture is still fine but the black starts in a corner, goes in about 2" in the center, and back to the other corner, on both sides. No repair person in my town, so I will have to drop off in another town. Not a great problem, except the TV weighs over 100#. I use Cable and Direct TV.

Any thoughts on the problem or if it is worth repairing? I am looking at the 32" Sony Bravia LCD HDTV with Digital Tuner, on sale at the local WalMart. Any thoughts on it as a replacement? Maybe I should save my money for gas? Thanks in advance for any info/advice.

Replace c464. I've had them leaky before and it causes a pin cushion problem (hour glass shape.)
