My Sony television dropped on the floor, quite a noise...Nothing was broken, but when I did turn the television on again I had view but there was no sound. I have 4 questions :
1) what's "broken" inside ?
2) Is it a costly affair to repair this ?
3) Is it safe to use my tv, or could I electrify myself after the crash ?
4) When the tv is not turned on yet, there is a slight yellow colour at the left bottom on the screen of the tv. What can be the cause of this ?

If we can synchronize a time , I will use my X- ray vision to see inside your tv, &, quite possibly, tell you where to take it, for a brand new make-over!.

If everything is working I would think that you probably have a crack on the Pcb. This could be close to the area where the speakers plug in or somewhere else where the ic is not getting the required voltage needed for amplification. also check the speakers. The yellow colour on the screen is the shadow mask that's bent with the fall and cannot be reversed. it will always remain. However check the degause circuit for cracks and also a speaker that may have moved out of position. Hope this will help!
