So much for the tech, took the board out and checked the chips and he missed out solding about 6 of the pins.

Now all pins solded and fuses checked. they are all fine.

Though I can not find the FD101 or FD102

Would it be worth replacing the red again?

Does anybody by chance know which STK the red one is?

Thanks Trish

Hi
and thank you. But if I order from the USA, it will probably take about a week or 2 to get here and may be cheaper and easier here in the Uk Smile

After going through every single fuse round the STK's, all are fine.

Axial Fuse 3.5A 125V pack of 5, luckily the same place I ordered my STK's so they can add them into the package.

Wish my husband luck (he is the solder of the house)

Now, did you take a multimeter and check them or are you going by the way they look?

Hello
yes. Tomorrow we will check the fuses under the IC's and hopefully find replacements for them, as if they are under the heat sink then these we have not yet been able to check.
So plan for tomorrow is:
Check the fuses under the heatsink, replace and hopefully....

As soon as we have done so, I will put in another update.

Thank you for the help so far. I am now hoping it is one of the pico fuses.

Hello again
Fuses have been changed, and I was able to adjust all the colours
Whilst in the service menu and adjusting and adjusting the set just went off.
Turned it back on as I thought I hit a button, then I could no longer adjust the blue.
Went off again after about 15 minutes, then I was able to adjust the blue...
Very strange goings on.
Have I connected something wrong?
Or is this set now trying to drive me mad?

Thanks Trish

OK
No idea what was wrong, ALL IS FINE AND WORKS AGAIN!
The problem was one of the pico fuses.

Now a lot of aligning to do, but have provisionally aligned this evening and apart from a few wonky lines (as I did not use a template or DVD)

Perfect picture!

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!
