Hello,
My 950 had been in storage for about a year because the pots needed cleaned badly, but other than that it had worked fine. The other day I finally received my Deoxit I had ordered so I pulled the 950 out of storage and went to work taking it apart to clean it. I didn't bother to try it out before I began work on it, but now I wish I had so I would have known if this problem was there before I began work on it. I have an SX-1050 that had been in storage with this one because the pots needed cleaned on it as well. I was able to get it working like new.

Anyway now for the problem.
After cleaning all the switches and pots I went to try it out and now there is no sound out of either channel. I checked the voltage going to the relay and there is none.........does anyone know what else I can do to try to resolve this problem?? The panel lights up and the function lights work....even the FM signal meter works.

Have you checked your low voltage power supply to verify that all voltages are present? In the process of your cleaning, could you have broken any wires going to the volume control unit? The relays you are referring to, are these the ones you hear click about 10 seconds after you switch ON the power switch?
