hey. I have mitsubishi vs 4551a and for the last 6 months there is a problem with view. first come the horizontal white stripes on a screan then everything just come black and its gone, recently for good. last month after five secons of normal working black screan come and there are no chances to watch anything. audio works fine
I've read about problems like that, and I want to ask what should be fixed and what is the price for parts. tv repair guy gave me a price for repair but I dont trust him. could anybody help me? thanks [email protected]

Sounds like you lost vertical deflection. Replace the vertical ic and the pump up caps. Confirm by turning up the screen control.
