|
|
I purchased an AVR 310 from Craigslist.com and found it's not working. When I went to the guys house to look at it, the 310 was on, but I found out afterwards the speakers were hooked up to another reciver below the AVR 310.
Any ways, I have a problem with a fuse blowing which is located right behind the "FM MODE" button. Behind the button, there is a green board with 4 fuses and the one that keeps blowing is the fourth of the 4, if you looked at the fuse Left to Right. Does anyone know what this fuse is protecting or what I can do to fix the problem? I've replaces the fuse and it blows as soon as I turn it on. I don't have any sound coming out of the AVR 310.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Correct!
The guy who was selling the 310 is spliting up with his wife. When I went back to talk with the guy, she told me he moved out without telling her where he moved too. When I was there I did see boxes packed and he told me he was moving out of state. |

Wow ...have the same problem with this unit .... removed the cover ... thought it might be a fuse..... theres a bank of four in the center board these are for the digital lights on the front panel....
left back corner theres another fuse on a side power panel... noticed a clicking noise when I turned on the unit and hit the source control button...the fuse is good on the panel... but have a feeling the small power transformer might be the problem.... the power cord runs into this area ... so does this transformer have anything to do with the sound ... any help would be cool.

There's usually 2 transistors that act as a push/pull. Their mounted on a heat sink. Been awhile since I fixed a radio. |
