Hi guys, I have a Lexmak all in one printer Modle# P6250 lately has been telling me that ,CLEAR CARRIER JAM,ipress <sellect> like it suggests to clear the jam and never clear the carrier jam so can't use it no more.
i know it might no have ink, is this why it sais clear carrier jam? i hate to go out and buy the ink that cost about 60 bucks and then it's not the ink any suggestions thanks in advance.

Frank- There is no service manual available for this printer. Your best bet would be to go to the Lexmark site and see what resources are available there.

Had a Lexmark a while back but due to the cost of the ink it was cheaper to purchase a new printer.

Yes, this seems to be more the norm than the exception. There are many printers where this is the case. Even with color laser printers where if you need to buy 4 toners, its cheaper to buy a new printer, then you can use the old one for parts.
