just replaced the 2 ic's and am thrilled that the set stays on now!!!!
found it getting tossed.....and being the electronics student i am figured
it would be a fun project....

but i am now having more trouble....the picture isn't clean
like it seems to have trouble holding itsself....
looks like noise "a horizontal distortion.....

not the whole screen but just parts of it...at a time'
all the resistors have the proper value and i dnno what to look for next
also can't seem to turn on noise reduction setting...hmmm
it seems to happen for about half a movie here and there whenever it wants to...really annoying.......
so i ask the experts
what to replace next?
