Sony STR-DE935 No Audio period

The unit appears to power on just fine, but I don't I am unable to get audio from FM, AM, CD, DVD sources. I have tried switching the speakers from A to B and changing the speaker selector according and even used the head phone jack on the front panel with the speaker selector set to off. I get nothing, not even static. I have also performed the memory reset by holding the the power button for 5 seconds which brought it into a demo mode. I then brought it out of the demo mode and still no audio. I am going to try and redo my speaker connections, but in the mean time does anyone run into this sort of problem before or have any ideas?
