Please help!! PDA screen power ribbon connector

The very end part of the treo screen ribbon (flat pin connector) snapped off of a almost brand new lcd screen's ribbon. I'm having a hard time believing there isn't something I can do. I've got the connector, I just can't reattach it. I looked at replacing the whole ribbon but, I practiced on a broken screen. I see how that aint happening. So what do I do. The screen is perfect, hell the ribbon is perfect except for the last half inch of it. Please help me....thanks,
