1. google for specification of tweeter:
at least
- Ohm (example: 4)
- Range (example 5000-2000Hz)
- Watt
(this is a little difficult, as there are different ways of counting:
for example 10watt "music" is complettly differnent then 10watt"sinus")
- dB
and / or possibly a test sheet

2. go to a electronics store (in germany we have conrad and others for example) with the specifications and look for simular types, look at form and technologie of the speaker as well,

if you want a good outcome, change the other tweeter (if you have two(stereo) speakers) as well !

..mmmhh..
well 6 Ohm is a start

google says speakers are 150 watt
3 Chanel bassreflex type

there should by some electronics in the box as well:
tell me (or us?) what is there?
if you are lucky, freq. range of the tweeter is noted on the
thing its probaly conected to.

i guess because its a 3 chanel box tweeter range is about

800 Hz to 18000 Hz
about 15 watt

(most power is used by bass and midrange)

you know its 6 ohm

and now im mostley out of ideas, (you know im not a speakers expert)

but i would by 2 cheap speakers that look more or less the same then the originals, and have the abouve specs, the lower the freq-range goes,
the better, as you dont know what freq. it has to cover so
600 - 18000 Hz
is better then
1000 - 18000 Hz

watt power is not so importent for tweeters in 3way speakers as it would be in 2way systems.
you dont need the types that do higher then 20000Hz, its out of human hearing, and often they dont sound right.
so long opal

Contact Pioneer service centre

Is there a name on the damaged tweeter?

If you cannot get the exact same part replace both tweeters.

Have you tested the tweeter? Have you swapped it for the one in the other box? What caused it to 'stop working'? What kind of crossover filters are used? Are the capacitor(s) overheated? Are the coils shorted or melted?
When you replace any driver you always check/replace the crossover filters with top quality replacements.

Yea i swapped both tweeters over in the speakers just to make sure it wasn't the crossover, and the other tweeter works in both but the broken one doesn't in any, when i took the tweeter out it just come apart in my hand i.e the cone from the magnet, i bought the speakers from a boot sale. but they sound good but not as balanced as they should be.
