so I found a 50" hitachi projection in front of my hous

it was built in oct 98

im thinking i might be able to fix it, on the outside and inside it is in showroom quality

when i plug it in 4 out of 5 internal green leds come on, then 2 seconds later a fith green led coms on and immediately after that the red protection led lights up and blinks, all green go off

Ive looked over the internal board for blown fuses, or anything else out of place, everything looks perfect, any ideas, service manuals, troubleshooting tips?

I dont have a strong background in electronics, but im a damn quick learner and i read anything given to me to brush up on basics.

Any help would be much appreciated.

theres actually 6 green leds, one of them does not turn on at all
