Sony VCR SLVEZ715 keeps ejecting -Help Plz!!!!-

Hi everyone, um I have a Sony VCR model SLVEZ715. Up until a few weeks ago she was running smoothly no probs. However I ejected a tape to replace with another, when I inserted the new tape my machine automatically ejected it leaving part of the tape strip still wand around the heads inside, i had to open the VCR shell to unwand the strip off the heads to free the tape, anyone experienced this??? Surely sum user around the world has had this happen??? I know i shud upgrade to perhaps a VCR/DVD recorder but strapped for cash and am rather fond of the old gurl. Plz n e 1, HOLLA!
