Hi, I've same problem with my TV. (chassis model is FE-2)

" plamensl said (14-09-2004) -- incorrectly fitted EHT lead at the LOPT end. Follow bulletin reference TV05900 for correct fitting. "

But I coudn't find anywhere that bulletin. Could you help me about this fault. Thanks for your interest.

If this is the problem all you have to do is ensure the eht lead is pushed into the line transformer properly.
