Hi guys,

I'm not exactly electronics savy... I have an international power adapter I use when I travel to Europe. It has a built-in fuse to prevent damage to the device... Anyway, it blew and I have been searching for a replacement fuse for months now. After emailing the retailer I got this as a reply:

Quote:
You could purchase this fuse in your local Radio Shack...

T 2.5 H, 250 volt

I attempted to purchase a pack of them and ended up with these:
http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102758&cp=&sr=1&origkw=fuse+250V&kw=fuse+250v&parentPage=search

...which don't work. Does anyone know why?

Could you send me a link for the right kind (on the same site)?

Many thanks!

The T before the 2.5 stands for Trag (german) or slow blow fuse.

The one listed in the link are fast blowing fuses and probably blow immideately under the inrushcurrent of the power supply.

Get some 2.5 Amp slow blow T type fuses rated for 250 Volts.
