Board Replacement for TV

I have 29 inch color TV where EHT is continuously arcing. The main board is BEKO and the picture tube is Panasonic 29 inch. This receiver is in perfect working order for a short period but EHT arching starts after short period. When this happens picture appears and disappears.
Is it possible to replace the entire main board with new 29 inch universal color TV main board? If so, what is the exact procedure one should follow during the replacement process? What are the important features that should be look in to when purchasing a compatible main board.[/b]

Where is the arc ?
From the anode cap on the tube..along the eht lead..lead arcing/touching metal... Is the board burnt/carbonised...damp lead..sharp point creating arc to air..

Isolate, clean and dry arc location
Oh, by the way EHT is lethal, switch off and dischage the anode first.

Why do you need to replace the main board?
