This set is blowing the 5A plug fuse but leaving the internal 4A fuse intact. I've removed the positor but it still blows the fuse. Bridge rectifier, chopper transistor and blue disc caps are ok. Any help appreciated.

Basics- cold check EVERY component in HOT power section- then disconnect in turn yoke, hoz, vert till B+ returns- could be shorted lopt section- run hoz supply with dummy load 60W globe- the reason ext fuse blows is because it is first in line. Rolling Eyes
