TV, Satelite and DVD

I have just bought a wall mounted flat screen tv, but don't want to have my DVD player and Satelite box right next to the TV, I was thinking of hiding them away in a corner somewhere.

I have noticed that my mother-in-law has done the same thing and was trying to explore the options of doing this.

The option I have found is to get a wireless AV sender, which is a fine idea, but I was wondering if there was an alternative wired option, mostly because I assume this will be cheaper, and perhaps more reliable.
