Hi everybody.
I am having a problem with my dvd player. As soon as it is switched on, it goes in standby mode.
Can someone plz help me to solve the problem?

Very familiar with the series...

Either a power supply problem or feed motor defect(part of laser pickup assembly).
Could go into test mode to verify but, not a whole lot to do for a non technical person---even then it's cost prohibitive in today's standards.
