the brightness gradually grew dim over a period of three months. all at once what should be black or gray in color is now green, the other colors are good. someone advised me to try a new or remanufactured motherboard.
AV27432
serial #08874066R
manufacture date 2003. purchased new Apr. 04.
if a remanufactured motherboard would fix this unit, someone respond back repairs and/or sell parts, at username email or please advise me where I may purchase this part.
thank you, woot

Try to rase g2, is the big transformer called the flyback there are 2 knobs on the back, the down one is g2, and the upper is focus, some need a srew driver to turn it up ,you could also try to resolder it's pins, also the socket on the crt could be bad, some time inside the socket gets bad corrode contacts inside the socket.

Your CRT is probably about to get worn out. Adjusting Ug2 will only work for a certain amount of time. In the end you'll have to scrap the tv.
