I have this tv and could really use help. Its common problem is the power protection circuit being tripped. From what I have read its most likely a high voltage problem. Well a few days ago i went into the back of it to check out the fuses and such. I found that almost all the wiring that should be on hooks wasn't and was just lying around the boards. So I put it all back up and then took out the raise circuit board that had all the fuses on it and check them. I pullled them out and made sure they were good and put it all back together.
Now for the fun part thats really puzzling me. When I turned back on the tv,I now got it to turn on but only the screen would turn on,not the controls on the front or sound. I went back over everything I did and even took out the board I did without taking out fuses and now its back to the blinking red light of doom. any ideas?
It would turn on before if I left it unplugged for days and once on left it on.

Any help would be appreciated.

Start with the convergence ic's STK392-110's. If that doesn't do it I'd go after the vertical ic.
