pioneer crt won't turn on

My 17 month old was apparently allowed to repeatedly turn my 36" pioneer crt on and off today... and now it won't turn on anymore The model is CT-3653, it's only 3 years old.

I have seen this so many times- the IHVT(Lopt-flyback) fails from the repeated stress of startup- usually the little mongrels also turn the volume up & down- THESE CONSUMER GOODS WERE NEVER DESIGNED FOR THIS ABUSE!!!!> If you can manage to find someone stupid enuff to take this repair on, & @ you have paid royally for the repair, I suggest you put a cage around the set!!!>
