mitsubishi 65807 problem

I have a mitsubishi mdl 65807 with a video problem. When you turn on the tv there's no picture. I can sometimes toggle the pip button to get the picture to come up but lately it's been very fussy. If I look at the tube from the front I notice that the green gun isn't working although the wires at the rear glow. How can I get this problem fixed? Ideas welcome.
