I have a zenith projection tv model icq50hb94w. The other day i removed the video input cables at the back of the unit when all of the sudden i started to smell something burning and the smell came from behind the input cables. When I power on the tv, it now has a half circle line on the bottom and the blue color is out of whack and very noticeable. Any idea what component(s) i need to check? I have attached a couple of pictures.

Sorry about the double post, i changed the subject line and removed the model as convergence might be a common problem.

Thanks for your reply. Before I pick up the ics, i would like to check for open pico fuses. Are these the KK25, KK22, KK23 etc on the convergence board?
Do the ics have to be replaced irregardless or might an open pico fuse cause this?

pico fuses go open because faulty ics.not sure location number.check for open pico fuses or 1.0 ohm resistors feeding +/- 26 volts to convergence ics.

Thank you very much for your reply, I did find a couple of bad resistors and all I have to do is find an outlet here in Toronto Canada that sells the STK's.

Thanks once again Cory. I checked with Global and they want $65.00 for each IC. I see them on sale for $12 and $16 dollars on Ebay. Why does Global sell them for so much??????

Because they can. If your going to buy them off of flea bay, ask the seller if their cheap Chinese knock offs and whats his warranty. Tell him you don't want crap IC's that will fail in 3 months.
