I have owned this amp since new and it always worked fine but, now when I turn it on it will run for a few minutes then it cuts out with the word PROTECTOR flashing on the screen.

Could anyone tell me what may be causing this? And if it is fixable?

THX

I Have the same receiver and the same problem for years and I fund an inexpensive solution. I unpplug the reciver, start my car go to the hardwarestore, buy a hammer (carpenter style) comeback to my house take the receiver to the basement and kill him with the hammer. I recommend use safety glasses. I buy a Pionner and no more problems. Very Happy
