Hi there,

We have a Changhong tv that somehow has been locked... It now has a blank screen with a red key in the bottom right-hand corner. Does anyone know how to get rid of this??? We have tried entering 6688, 3308, 0765, 10765 and holding the F and Mute button down. None of this seems to work.... What are we doing wrong??? PLEASE HELP US!!!! Crying or Very sad

Thought that I would post the remedy to my problem in case anybody else runs into the same trouble...

Try to hold down the "OSD" button and then press the Mute button on remote control. The "OSD" button has a figure similar to a TV set on it. Normally if you press this button it will swtich on/off the screen dispay of character like channel number etc..

Hope this helps someone that had the same issue as me! Very Happy

Your solution to this problem just helped me out. I woke up this morning, turned on my tv and the screen was black, with a small red key in the botton left corner and I couldnt do anything. I could hear the channel but couldnt change it or anything.

I had to try a few different buttons to find the osd button as most of the pictures on my buttons have rubbed away, but the internet is amazing. A seemingly obscure problem was solved in less than a minute with ppl and information connected through the internet.

Was this solution in your owners manual? I dont have mine anymore so I couldnt look. Thanks for the post.
