my sony have a strange problem,i have a white line on the tv in the middle ,the upper picture shows the pepole with funny head,like an alian.
the lower picture is alright.the piture is not full.i thoght it was lin problem,
but when i turn the trimer nothing happend.any help would be great

Hello,
You have to replace a capacitor on the vertical area
The identify number in the board is C588, is value is 680uf/25v/
(in place you can use 1000uf/25v)

the cap is usually c531 680MfD, fault improves with time

By replacing an electrolytic capacitor in vertical linearity circuit (560uF) , the problem is solved.
