I'm repairing a Ford Mach radio that the power board for the display overheated. It got hot enough that one of the surface mount resistors fell off and I don't have a schematic to lookup the value of r1051. If anyone could tell me what the value is I would appreciate it. |

If you get no joy-:
Why not get a wire wound potentiometer, say a 1K or so, put it on it's highest setting and place it 'in circuit' turn it down gradually.... the only thing is if it passes any appreciable amount of current a wire a carbon track type 'may' burn up since they are not really 'voltage droppers'.
Is it not possible for you to trace where the resistor goes, you didn't say what type of display.... this may give a clue.
