This just started today, I turn on the camcorder to record and and I see fuzz, it's as if the exposure is set to high or too low, I have tried everything I can think of, I change both the manual and auto exposure, the same is in nightshot just fuzz, no picture. It doesn't appear the iris is seeing anything. When I zoom in all the way all there is mosaic fuzz. Is this the tube if so, can i replace it?

Thanks

I ran it on Sony's site and the only reference was a bad ccd. Call 1-866-703-7669.

Thanks, I will give it a call. I just connected to a TV and there is audio but no picture, it's as if it's blind, probably is the CCD, I didn't think of that.

Thanks

Well I called and they couldn't tell me what's wrong, only that it's not the CCD, maybe the lens, but here's the kicker, there is no self diagnostic code. So she says it's malfunctioning, well I could have told you that, we tried to reset by taking out the batteries, it does record, just audio with noise video. So she says she will get me a flat rate, after asking me a bunch of questions she tells me $120, well I said to my wife if it's $60 it's worth it, but since we bought the unit on Ebay in August for $70 and change in August, and you can get another one on Ebay for for less than $120 it's just not worth the wait to repair it. So now what should I do, should I try to repair it myself or just put it on ebay for repairs?

Thanks
