audi chorus always back in safe mode

hello, i just installed my original chorus, connected alle the wires as original and every time i turn of my car it goes back into SAFE mode.
when i turn off the radio it's ok, only if i take the key out off the contact.
is it passible that there is a battery inside that is flat? strange though because the station presets stay in the memory.

never mind, find out the cable with permanent 12V was damaged and gave "sometimes" a bad contact.
