PH3912725871-KIT philips tv shuts off on its on

I have a 60p8342 philips tv that just shuts off on its on, sometimes you can unplug it for a day or two and it will play for a while but shut off again. After research i have seen that the SSB is more than likley my problem, but they offer a kit for it and i want to know what comes in the kit and is it worth the 90.00 to try to repair my SSB. What is involved in doing the repair kit?
