hi,anybody can help me?
my friend give me his unknown code car audio,and many thx to tmcu [you are g8!]
the problem now,on display screen, come out 'PHONE'
and there is nothing i can do to on the radio nor cassete Sad
i check the pin out, for pin 4 [telephone muting] is not connected,it has 6,6 vdc.
my firend said,if 'PHONE' displayed,pin 4 is connected,so why??

some body help pls...

Perhaps, the car stereo's internal circuitry connected to the phone muting pin is defective in some way. For example, because of an external wrong connection or short circuit, or due to ESD damage. Check out the service manual and schematic for the unit to see if this can give any clues. If there is any complex IC directly connected to this pin, check out its datasheet too.

unfortunately i,ve no schematic diagram for it nor in this forum,so i cannot examine or solve it,but i'll try more
