Sony KV-L34SN11 no picture, no raster, but tube OK

Hi all.

I have here, a Sony 34" TV set which has sound, but no picture.
The tube is charging and after power-on, you can feel the static on it, so one would think that there can be nothing wrong with the LOPT/Flyback transformer.

You can see the electron gun heaters in the neck of the tube glowing orange, but only very faintly - this too seems to suggest that the guns are probably alright, as in all the TV faults I have had anything to do with, it is usually one of the guns which goes in the tube, providing a tinted picture, but not all three guns at once...

You can connect a 2nd TV to the MONITOR OUT sockets on the back of the Sony, and the picture is perfect. This would suggest that the tuner is fine, or you would not get this.

I suspect the video buffer-amplifier stage at the point before the tube, but would like any other opinions anyone here may offer.
