I have a sony 52" tv model kp-51hw40 that was given to me. When I turn it on the light flashes for a few seconds and then the screen comes on all in red. Within a few seconds the screen goes black and the power light starts flashing again. Does anyone here know how to fix this?

check RGB transistors,or CRT

is more likely is the picture tube or crt i work best option try getting a used one the part has been discontinued
