Hi guys...
my monitor acer p193w does light up but turns off after about 2 or 3 seconds. while there is light it shows the image but after that the image is only visible with the help of a flash light...it also makes a buzzing sound... and so i disassembled my monitor and checked the "ac-in-board-thing" for bad capacitors...the capacitors seem alright but something near the ac in seems to have blown...here are the pics:

is it possible to switch that thing with a new one and where can i get it?
thanks^^

That is just a 2 amp fuse (pigtail type). You can easily substitute it w/ any 2 amp fuse BUT, based on how it blew apart, it is very likely that you have something else shorted down the line.

It looks very much like a typical damage caused by lightning &/or power surge. Almost always the bridge rectifier(in this case D801) is fried. Check it with a meter. Often the damage may stop at the bridge or may travel further?
