Replace them with either 16 or 25 volt capacitors. |

I have worked for Philips Medical Systems for 10 years. We have had to go around the country replacing capacitors in central station computers in hospitals for the same problem. I have a tv doing the same thing and I was going to look at the capacitors before I ran across this post.

I just did the same TV yesterday. If you have the back cover off the power pack will be the one in the middle. if any of the capacitors are bulging on the tops of them they need replacing. If you know how to solder then this is a cheap fix. the only thing is finding the capacitors for it. The cap. I had to replace was 10v 3300uF ones. I found some on an old motherboard in a computer. |
