Zenith SJ-2743LK picture comes and goes

Hi, I have a Zenith SJ-2743LK console TV. A late 80's model that has worked great. Last week the picture started to go out. Now it comes and goes. When it goes out it goes to a dark red/black and looses vert hold. Anyone have a suggestion what to check? I can not find the manual for this model. It does have PIP, but not sure how to bypass it to determine if it is the cause.

Replace C2036 on the pip module.

Minnie, thank you very much! That fixed it. Must be a common problem for this model. That cap was the only one from a different manufacturer than all other caps in the PIP. Zenith must have had a supply issue for that part. Well its back up and running.
